“Eleanor Roosevelt” This particular croton is also known as Sloppy Painter, because it has long, vibrantly green leaves that look as though someone splashed golden – yellow paint all over them. Morning sun and afternoon shade is ideal. Works great as an accent in the landscape or in a pot on the Lanai. Water when dry, using organic matter, and fertilize with a more acidic fertilizer. Can easily be kept at 2 – 3 ft tall and wide, but will slowly get larger if allowed.
